Craftz Co., Ltd. (hereinafter referred to as “Craftz”) obtains large amounts of customer data in the course of its business activities.
Craftz is fully aware of its responsibility to society in relation to the use of these personal data, and takes the risks associated with such data seriously. To build, maintain and enhance appropriate personal data management measures, Craftz has established its own personal information protection and management system, and ensures that this system is used properly.
1. Basic policy
Craftz complies with Japan’s Act on the Protection of Personal Information and with related laws and regulations. Craftz has also formulated a personal information protection and management system that has the status of a company rule, and besides working steadily to implement this system, Craftz also strives to ensure ongoing improvement of the system.
In addition, both company officers and employees are familiarized with Craftz’s rules, and strive to implement them thoroughly, and Craftz has established a management system for the protection of personal information.
2. Appropriate management
Craftz strives to ensure that personal information is accurate and up-to-date. To prevent the loss, leaking, unauthorized alteration or destruction of personal information, Craftz implements appropriate information safety management, as well as taking other measures when necessary.
3. Purpose of use of personal information
When obtaining personal information for business use, Craftz clearly specifies the purpose for which the information will be used, gives advance notice of this, and obtains only such information as is needed to achieve the purpose of use. To ensure that, after information has been obtained, it is used only within the scope specified for the purpose of use, Craftz implements thorough education of its employees, etc.
4. Response policy
Craftz responds promptly and seriously to requests for consultation, expression of views, and inquiries, relating to the handling of personal information.

Craftz Co., Ltd. will not disclose or provide customers’ personal information to any third party except in the following circumstances:
1. When required to do so by law
2. When the customer’s consent has been obtained
3. Where it is necessary in order to safeguard human life, health, or property, and it is difficult to obtain the customer’s consent
4. Within the scope necessary to realize the purpose of use, where the handling of personal information has been entrusted to Craftz Co., Ltd.
