- Microwavable pouches are designed to be self-venting to allow steam to release when the pouch is being microwaved, so the contents can be heated without needing to open the pouch.
- The protruding “fin” on the back of the pouch has a steam vent, so that the pouch can be laid flat inside a microwave oven and heated up, without needing to worry about it bursting if it falls over.
- Being able to heat the pouch up while it is laid flat reduces the risk of food not cooking properly or being wasted.
POINT
- We can provide four different types of microwavable pouch: general-purpose, low-temperature, barrier-type, and zipper-type.
- The zipper-type pouch allows additional ingredients to be added before microwaving.
